Guided tours are a great way to reduce the amount of effort required to tour the back country trail systems in both Jackson Hole and Alpine, Wyoming. What is an ATV vs. Side by Side?
Pictured first is our ATV, commonly referred to as a Four Wheeler or Quad. We offer double seat ATVs that can be used for either a single rider or a rider and a passenger. These have front and rear storage racks and are automatic 4×4 machines with a thumb throttle. They are designed to be ridden on ATV specific trail networks. These are the machines we use for our guided tours in Jackson or for self guided rentals in Alpine
Pictured below are our side by sides. They have full roll cages with steering wheels and pedals, like a car. These are automatic 4×4 machines and come in both 2 seat and 4 seat options. We offer guided tours on our 2 and 4 seat side by side options out of our Alpine location. At our Jackson and Alpine offices you can take the side by sides on self guided tours with either a half day or full day option.

Can I limit my liabililty in case of damage?
We offer optional damage waivers on all of our equipment, it can be purchased for $25 for ATVs or $39 for Side by Sides. For ATVs this limits your liability to no more than $1,000 in parts and labor and no more than 5 days loss of use. For Side by Sides this limits your liability to no more than $1,500 in parts and labor and no more than 5 days loss of use. There is no way to limit potential recovery charges if the machine is so damaged it cannot be brought back without our staff’s assistance. We strongly suggest purchasing this coverage, as most people do not have any other kind of coverage for this type of equipment. Should you choose to decline the coverage on a side by side rental, we will authorize $5,000/machine on your card of choice.

Helmets and goggles will be included with your rental. Be prepared to get muddy, dusty or wet! We suggest long pants and closed toed shoes or boots. It’s never a bad idea to bring a swimsuit and towel if you feel like cooling off in the river on our full-day adventures!
Other great trail items include: picnic lunch, bear spray, cameras, small coolers (available for rent).
Many of these items are available in our retail section.
There are areas on all of our machines to tie down small items like backpacks and coolers. We provide bungee cords.
